just smoked some salmon and i tryd basting it with the brine evey half hour, and it tastes amazing, keeps the fish alot more tender and moist, belive it or not it only takes me two hours to smoke a coho in my new propane smoker on low heat, one of the best fishy purchases ive bought

Is that the smoker that walmart was selling. A smoky mountain.

Try basting with honey cut with a bit of low salt soy sauce.
