Hey all, when I was in the vedder the other day I had something that looked like a goby follow my jig while I was hoping it along the bottom. Is there reports of Goby being in there?

Just because you have a pin rod doesnt mean you know how to fish it.....

No gobies, just common sculpins in our streams.

--even though no goby's a goby immitation... small soft plastic swim bait seems to work well in attracting fish. I've used these in various colours.. some not even a fish colour  but for some reason the swim motion stimulates a strike.

--have used them on jig or on the hook of a small spoon. I guess it looks like the goby is chasing food thus triggers larger game fish to go for both.

I second the sculpin thought....there is an invasive goby in the Great Lakes...let's hope it's not another alien species.
