Fish bones
« on: January 27, 2017, 07:07:32 PM »

I came across some interesting (I thought) on the riverbed of the Vedder today.  The downward facing mouth made me think sucker until I noticed the teeth.  It almost looks like a Ling Cod but obviously the Vedder wouldn't be a place to find one of those.  Any thoughts?

I'm probably missing something obvious but I couldn't think of a fresh water fish with a mouth like that.

Sorry for the picture quality.
