Went up last Tuesday for a 5 day trip. Tried a few lakes that didn't even have a name. Didn't have many fish either. Best times were had at Ruth Lake and the end of May Kokanee season. Just shows what stocking can do to some lakes with reasonably good fishing for Koke's. Great Trout fishing as well. Found that if you got up real early that the wind stayed down making canoeing easier. That was on the nicer days, but by Friday the rain was socked in and the wind stayed down most of the day. Fished Ruth one last time on Saturday morning and kept 4 Koko,s for the ride home. Did lots of power rowing just cus I can  :). And the electric motor was no match for the wind at times.

Bringing in the beef.

Launching from the floating bog into the seven foot deep lake

Judy Lake, apparently named after the the mill owners daughter.

2 sets of raingear and a pink carnation. I'm staying dry all the time.

hunter ......gatherer heading back to the cooler.

grilly good.

can't wait to get back up there.
