Title: Peace Park, September 12
Post by: Fishiefish on September 14, 2007, 04:44:52 PM
Arrived there at night, couple of guys drinking and chatting. The pinks are in the Pitt River! I saw lots of them doing jumps and such. No whitefish caught, which was dissapointing. I went back to our car and read a book, when one of the guys there told me I had a fish. I was using Salmon eggs at that time, but I didn't know what it was since it was dark. I grabbed the rod and set the hook. It felt so strong, I assumed it was a Pink or a Rainbow. It got away, sadly. Any tips on how to keep it on the line?
