Has anybody tried the Nitinat River for Chinook in the last few days?

You could try and call Gone Fishing in Port Alberni.  They might be able to give you some info.

This time of year, I would expect to see lots of Coho's starting to school up, but maybe the Chinooks are thick in there too.

To me, the original post inquiring about the Nitnat was reasonable. It's a known thing but not that close to a major urban centre. People can choose to respond or not.
