Title: Mill lake bass
Post by: Ry the fly guy on May 24, 2015, 08:30:09 PM
Hey everyone, I am going to Abbotsford for a rugby tournament and our hotel is 1.6 km from mill lake. I have heard they have largemouth bass in the lake and I was wondering if it's possible how to catch them from shore . I will be their from this Tuesday-Saterday. Thanks for the help.

I've heard of guys regularly catching them from shore however most guys that target bass will do so from a boat.

So, Yes - it's possible to catch them from shore. The only places I know would be off the dock at the north west side of the lake. The far west end of the lake.

Another spot that I've heard discussed but haven't seen fish caught there is the rounded man-wall point that kicks into the lake. it's mid lake on the north side east of the boat launch and dock. I've seen the bass guys there but have never tried it for bass. I only target the trout there - never the bass.

Sorry I can't be anymore help than that.
