LOL!!! Should be interesting to see if this thread is deleted again ... my guess is no, not this time ;)
If anyone actually attends this event consider asking Eddie, or better yet Ms. Morton, what stock of wild salmon is being served and when and where it was harvested ...

I 'm curious ... who here on FWR will be attending this event, and, who won't?
Nova, troutbreath, alwaysfishn, Chris, Norton (the most vocal anti salmon farmers I can think of, and at least 3 from the host town, Chilliwack), what about you?
Who reading this is planning to hand over $55 to attend this Gala Event to save wild salmon by eating one?  Let me start off by saying I will not be there.
Anyone else care to commit one way or another?

Looks like the returns to the Copper river are up and down also.

Most likely the salmon on the menu has been eating that nasty feed lot food.

There ya go Dave. Not so quite, but still no answer to your question. Typical format of the anti-feedlot boys, since I have been there.

Well Chris, we both know the salmon farming industry in BC won't be changing much in the foreseeable future and we both know the future of wild salmon is more dismal every day (climate change, pipelines, IPP’s, over fishing, urban encroachment, poor hatchery and ocean ranching procedures, etc  ...)
I know you're just the messenger who has bought in hook, line and sinker but I hope for your sake, and yours only my friend as you know what I think of the organizers, you're not disappointed once again.
Ask Eddy to drum a different tune maybe - that should brighten the evening ;)

Yup there cliff just has dirty fish polluting waterways and spreading desease that kill off more fish than any other farming practice. Even surpassing chicken kills from avian flu. But hey that's OK for them. :o

And of course, a few that won't :)
Hope you have an enjoyable evening and no one chokes on any wild salmon bones ...
Oh yeah, bring lots of money as AlMo will be requesting donations for her latest court case.

Dave , I'll pick up the tab for your seat. ;D I can't go as my rugby team is having an event that I can't miss, but I'll gladly pay for your ticket.

That would be awesome Chris. Make sure you get a receipt. You know Morton's sheeple will want proof that you donated. :)

Kudos to Eddie Gardner, he did a magnificent job in pulling that event together (and proving me wrong..) :)  I can't imagine the good stuff this energetic man could accomplish were he not so mesmerized with AlMo and her cause.  There appeared to be lots of attendees but I only recognized a few on this particular link ... was BU collecting an autograph there? ;D
The little girl singing was excellent; great voice and stage presence, and I liked the dog shot ... AlMo’s ??

Wait until you hear her speak, along with more singing, "Shallow Waters" and "A Change is Gonna Come" I will get that up later. Alex's dog has been on her journeys. ;D

It took me 3 DVD's to record it all. ;D
