Cabela's new catalogue arr'd in the mail today not too much worth the lookin' IMO.
Very very little fishin' gear everything but in fact.
Back in the day they used to have page after page after page of different stuff a person could learn a lot just lookin' at the pictures.
It'll still have a place in the bathroon but for quick stops only.::)

I remember those days; I guess when the canadian dollar went too far south twelve years ago they lost a large part of their market.

Did you get Cabala's general Spring Catalog? They also have several special catalogs such as "Fly Fishing", "Salt Water Fishing", "Fishing", "Spring Hunting", "Fall Hunting", "Archery" and "Reloading" to name but a few. Cabela's has become so big that it is impossible to have everything in one catalog anymore, so they make about 10 different catalogs.
You can go on their website and order a catalog of your choice on line. Or give them a call.

It's the biggun-Spring Catalogue as per the subject line.
I know the other catalogues and have rec'd them in the past.
Having been a Cabela's customer for over 20 years I'm familiar with how their operation has changed and not for the better IMO.
The once interesting Saltwater catalogue is a pale shadow of what it once was and contains mostly cheapo knockoffs.
