Good video.

I follow the Left Kreh Mark Sosin recommendations for tying knots like the albright.

For loop to loop connections I use a Bimini twist in the backing. You can also use a Bimini when tying an albright knot. Bimini in the backing to double the backing then tie the albright.

IMO a nail knot to connect backing and fly line is only suitable for trout fishing. Even  then I use an albright. Nail knot is great for leader butt to the line.
