Christmas Presents...within reason
« on: December 01, 2004, 09:45:44 PM »

We all have our dreams of gear for Christmas, but what do you really want, that's actually attainable ?

Here's mine:
A long distance-casting baitcaster (Abu Garcia, or Shimano)
Fly-fishing vest (with integrated inflatable lifejacket)

Thats about it realistically speaking...  :D

Yup, ebay is great.  Santa has gotten me a lot of presents from eBay, like my Calcutta.

Santa came early this year and brought me a Garmin GPSMAP76S yesterday ;D. He couldn't resist a good bargain when he saw one ;).

It will come in handy for marking those secret fishing spots, not losing crab traps and navigating the boat in foggy conditions. It will also get invited to the odd fall hunting excursion.

Hmm... I don't ask for much, so here goes...

Fishing jacket
Breathable waders (Simms/Bare blackwater)
Fly rod 7/8 wt
Some bigger Rapala wobblers
Remote microphones for my camcorder
Waterproof digital camera

Check back for updates. ;)
