Does anyone here like eating pinks?
Smoke them.  Also, they are good if you steam them and then flake the meat into a creamy tomato sauce with sundried tomatoes and artichoke hearts, served over a bed of your favorite pasta. :D

I have a way of smoking pinks that turns them into what I call "Salmon Bacon". It really works well. Then, once smoked, I slice the flesh thin, and fry it. A healthy alternative to bacon.

LAST TIME WE WERE OUT i HAD GOOD LUCK WITH PINKS ON A PINK FLY ,ALSO A FAIRLY SPARSLEY TIED FLY MADE WITH POLAR BEAR HAIR AND STIFFENED WITH HEAD CEMENT . THEY REALLY SEEMED TO LIKE IT . WE FOUND THAT IF WE TOOK THE HIDE OFF THEM AND REMOVED THE FAT ALONG THE LATERAL LINE THEY WERE EXCELENT EATING . A LITTLE MESSY BUT THE EATING IS WORTH IT . CERTAINLY AS GOOD AS THE SO CALLED FRESH SOCKEYE WE GET IN OUR STORES OUT HERE .

If you really want to have some fun go up to the Indian River, to when the Pinks are coming in as you can walk across there backs.

SHHHHHHH!  Nice Chinook run too!
