There's a fine line between fishing and standing on the shore like an idiot

i personally use a rapala magnum 8' one piece, with a penn 330 spooled right full with 150lb power pro... some guys use 12' ugly sticks and a huge spinning reel... i used a 6' penn power stick and a penn 320 for my first two outings and was scared with a 4' so i got a bit better combo... shimano technium and a tld 25 will be my next purchase when your ready to go drop me a line and we will make it happen, take it easy and tight lines

Techniums are great rods but not built for shore fishing, too sensative for throwing the heavier weights a long ways..... That being said, I ONLY use the techniums (4) on my boat...... The 330 is a good reel and holds lots of line, next step up would be the TLD!
