Title: New baby spinning rod
Post by: typhoon on April 19, 2013, 07:48:59 AM
My brother just had a new baby and also happened to need a new spinning rod for interior trout fishing (though I don't think he'll have time any time soon).
Mudhole MHx S842-2 7' 4-8lb
Rubberized, green burl, natural, and burnt corks used in the grip
Guide layout: 27x placement using 4mm micro running guides.
Cobalt Blue with Lime and Silver trim (baby's name in the logo)

Nice rod
I'm attempting to make a fly rod
How do you make the name on the rod? When you put Keegan and what did you use? I couldn't find it on google

Very nice!!!
Curious, do you glue the the grips on the blank then turn them down or do you do them on a mandrel?
