Title: Where to take a newbie for Pinks?

Friends dad from England wants to go for Salmon ...I have offerred to take him... he is awesome people.

I really want him to hook up with a pink.

Best spot I should take him ( in your opinion ) is ?

Thank you for your input... I will check this site before going out tomorrow. I will post how we do!

Yesterday I had a couple of reports of small schools of fish coming through Dyke Road area around 2pm, during low tide. The bite lasted about 1 hour, and it was dead again.

Maybe it's worth taking him further upstream, to somewhere that's more scenic? The Vedder Canal would be one, just seeing the fish staging down there can be awesome for him. I find the fish are coming by Richmond at unpredictable times right now.

Vedder for sure any deep area has pinks in it last time i was there. Use a jig if you wana maximise you bite but the hook up is another story. ::)

Local to the lower mainland is the only choice as other details of the day dictate scheduling issues.

Stevenson / River rd..... takes the early lead .........any one with specific info such as safe to park & What boulder to stand on?? ;D
