Just thought I'd share these pictures from my July 29th trip to the Vedder with Winter Steel. I'm sending these pictures to Rod so he can add them so just wait a bit if they don't show up yet. They were taken at Allison pool. We were lucky that no one else was fishing there and we happened to find a school of 6-10 fresh springs mixed in with the Sockeye. The cool thing is that during the fight W.S. had with his first fish he had to throw me the rod with the fish on and still pulling..it was the only way to get around some trees. The fish that I kept was caught while we were standing on a cliff right above it. We watched the roe drift to it and saw the spring move a little to the left to intercept it and bite it. Ruined his day when we set the hook!!!!!!! I'd like to see any other good shots from this or past seasons if anyone has any. BP
