Anyone fish the Cap mouth from shore lately?
i have never tried but am thinkin bout it
-
Nope but willing to give it a try

Too early to be fishing the mouth. Another month.

Yeah, Fish Assassin is right it's to early to fish the mouth of the cap from shore. It will be excellant if we don't get any rain like last year. Because the fish will just be holding there if the water is too low to go upstream.

Thats too easy, fishing like in a damn aquarium, be a true fisherman let them go up do there "thang" and catch them on the mainstem. :)

It's not as easy as some people seem to think. Some regulars do quite well if they know what they're doing. The cohos congregate at the mouth because they can't get upstream because of the low water. The few that try to migrate that trickle get picked off by the Indians using shopping carts, but that's another story.

Hey Trout Slayer are you kidding?????
Fishing the mouth from shore is probably the most unproductive fishing there is!!!!!!!!
I have never seen more fisherman go home without even a bite than I have seen at the mouth of the Cap.
Unless you are snagging them you aren't catching them, those fish have closed mouths!!!!!!!
