24th ???? What a tease ;D Dion, I think they are fishing Make Belief bar. I suspect that it's a small pikeminnow ;D
-
Can anyone spot a Leaf Craft in the clip? ;)
-
The clip brings back some good memories of an enjoyable trip. I made my first trip today for 4 hours out on the Fraser in the Leaf Craft, visibility was a little over 2 feet. I was the only one there and the bell did not toll.
The chaps doing the creel survey at Island 22 told me they saw an Eagle capture a chinook in the 10 pound range today. They said a number of other Eagles joined in and they eat it in short order.
Received reports the other day FN have taken 300 chinooks in the Canyon area and 50 in the lower reaches of the Fraser River so far this season. The latter may be a little low I think but the other figure sounds close.
