Would you like to see some of Vancouver Island's most pristine rivers while fishing for wild winter steelhead from a drift boat? If so, here is a great opportunity for you to experience it!
The Rambling Fisherman is a new guiding service that offers professional steelheading adventures from its Transport Canada certified drift boats.
Guide Ian Barker has been fishing for salmon and steelhead on Vancouver Island for over 30 years, and he is now sharing his experience with others. Ian offers both guided walk-in and drift boat trips on several Vancouver Island Rivers.
- Northern Vancouver Island wild rivers
From January 1st to April 30th, The Rambling Fisherman is offering guided steelheading packages from their drift boat to the North Vancouver Island wild steelhead rivers. Packages start at $200/day per angler based on 2 anglers per drift boat. Walk-in trips are $350/day for up to 3 anglers. - Cowichan River
January 1st to April 30th, guided drift boat steelheading, $175/person based on 2 anglers per boat. - Stamp River
September 1st to April 15th, guided drift boat Steelheading, $175/person based on 2 anglers per boat. Walk-in trips are $275 for up to 3 anglers.
