The Secwepemc Fisheries Commission (SFC) is currently conducting a commercial beach seine fishery for sockeye salmon at Savona Beach on the Thompson River. As in 2006, Fisheries and Oceans Canada will be putting signs up on the beach during the fishery so anglers are aware of it.
