Volunteers and staff of the Seymour Salmon Hatchery will be doing coho salmon carcass recoveries when weather and time permit over the next few weeks to determine the size of Seymour River's adult coho salmon return. There will be an opportunity for anyone who is interested to come up and spend a few hours in the streams along the Seymour River looking for spawned out fish. Please contact Ed Walls if you are interested (the weekends would be especially good) and he will try to fit you in. If you have waders and rain gear, please bring them along. Provide some possible dates that would suit you in the email. The hatchery can also do it with reasonably short notice if the weather looks good.
