The "Advanced Stillwater Strategies" course is designed for intermediate and advanced fly fishers. This one-day advanced fly fishing course at Hatch Match'r Fly and Tackle is packed full of invaluable information that will significantly improve your overall fly fishing abilities and your knowledge of our sport. Todd will teach you a series of highly-effective floating and sinking-line techniques and tactics that will significantly improve your chances of hooking and landing greater numbers of trout. He will also cover fly fishing techniques and strategies for bank-style on stillwaters.
Todd is a three-time gold medalist at the Canadian National Fly Fishing Championships, four-time top-finisher at the Trojan Pond in British Columbia, and has had the honour of being selected nine times to compete as a member of Team Canada at the World Fly Fishing Championships and several other international fly fishing championships. He will share some of his competitive and "local" knowledge, as well as the highly-effective "loch-style" fly fishing techniques, which he studied with several top-ranked international coaches during several visits to the United Kingdom and Europe.
Your time spent with in the classroom with Todd will not only increase your overall angling success, but will allow you to approach your favourite stillwaters with a whole new approach and a much greater level of confidence.
