High stream flow advisory

Combining the heavy snowfall that British Columbians have recently experienced and sudden temperature rise, high stream flow is expected to occur at most river systems across Southern BC in the next several days. The Chilliwack River, where winter steelhead anglers frequently visit this time of the year, is currently unfishable and dangerously high. BC Ministry of Environment has issued a high stream flow advisory. You can find the latest updates on the Chilliwack River condition by visiting this page.
