| Volunteers needed at high school flyfishing championship | ||||||||||

Randy Morgan at Hatch Match'r will once again be hosting the high school flyfishing championship this year. The event is taking place from 9:00am to 2:00pm on Sunday April 27th at Sun Valley Trout Park. The competition is unfortunately not opened to anymore students for this year. There are four schools in the Maple Ridge/Mission district that are involved in this. Each school will select its top 6 students to compete. If you, as a student, are interested in the future, you can get your school involved by finding a sponsor teacher to start a club. Even though it is not opened to more students, you are always welcome to attend and watch. Volunteers are needed to assist students in casting, flycasting, weighing fish, and just general duties to keep the event run smoothly.
