Job Description:
Subject: SPRING/SUMMER FISHERIES TECHNICIAN POSITIONS AVAILABLE – Cultus Lake,

Fisheries technician position available this Spring/Summer at Cultus Lake in association with the DFO Cultus Lake Research Laboratory. The successful candidate will assist in the field. Duties may include observing fishing operations aboard a purse seine boat on the lake to capture northern pikeminnow in order to support the recovery of Cultus sockeye salmon.

Other duties include biological sampling of catches, assisting in pre-trip preparation, operation of a small craft on the lake in sometimes inclement weather, and other tasks as required.
