Nominate Your Endangered Rivers Dear River Advocates, Starting this week, and over the next three months, the Outdoor Recreation Council will be accepting nominations for the 2007 Endangered Rivers List, for media release in April. This list is the only one of its kind that is compiled annually based on submissions from literally tens of thousands of British Columbians. Over the years, this list has done much to increase public awareness about major river issues and whether you recreate on rivers or help to manage and care for them, we hope you'll participate. All submissions should include the name of the river(s) nominated along with an appropriate description of the threat. These will then be tabulated and reviewed by ORC's provincial Endangered Rivers Committee. Nominations can be sent directly to Mark Angelo, ORC Rivers Chair. Thank you in advance for your support of this initiative.
