Help Restoring the Discovery Trail in Squamish

Evergreen, in partnership with the Squamish River Watershed Society, the Squamish Estuary Conservation Society, and the District of Squamish, are holding a free public workshop on invasive plants followed by a public planting on the Discovery Trail. The Discovery Trail is the main commuter trail that runs through the town of Squamish.

Workshop

Sat. October 28, 2006 10:00 am – 11:30 am. Meet at the Squamish Adventure Centre, 38551 Loggers Lane

Planting

Sat. October 28, 2006 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm. Meet in the United Furniture Warehouse parking lot in the Industrial Park just off Highway 99.

Wear close-toed shoes and dress for the weather. Tools, gloves and refreshments provided!
