Pacific Salmon Foundation Job Opening

The Pacific Salmon Foundation is now accepting resumes for a program coordinator position. This is a full time position.
Responsibilities
Project Coordination, program support and administration to PSF priority salmon activity areas.
Review project proposal documents and plans to assess benefit to salmon resource, identify deficiencies, ensure sound science and traditional ecological knowledge and alignment with Federal, Provincial and local legislation and policies. Ensure best use of PSF resources.
Provide communication and technical assistance to PSF project applicants and proponents, recovery plan teams, committees, and partners involved in salmon related initiatives.
Oversee and maintain PSF program’s project cycle, draft letters, contracts and other documents and correspondence, assist in reviewing and editing internal and external communications.
Assist in the preparation and calculation of budgets.
Education and Experience Required
Demonstrated personal suitability, experience and competencies equivalent to:
Bachelors Degree and 3 years experience in natural resource management (salmon) and stewardship support initiatives
or
Diploma in Natural Resource Management plus 5 years of fisheries/stewardship/project management experience
