Sockeye Salmon Fishing on the Fraser River Sockeye fishing is now open on the Fraser River. Fishing has been excellent for both Chinook and sockeye. Most groups are limiting out and getting some sturgeon fishing in late afternoon. This is going to be a great month for salmon fishing on the Fraser. We still have a few dates available for 3rd week in August and some afternoon trips for next week. For more info, please go to this page.
