Coquitlam River Cleanup That's right, put on your party dress boys and girls. Riverside Fly & Tackle in Port Coquitlam is having a weekend full of events on August 12th and 13th. Saturday August 12th is the Coquitlam River Cleanup day. This smalll urban stream has many problems with garbage. The last time a cleanup occurred on this stream FWR had a good turnout of members to help out and we look forward to the same this year. More information on times and meeting places will be posted as the date draws closer. Sunday August 13th is the casting competition and BBQ. There will be a singlehand flyrod distance competition, Technical 9 hole course and Spey casting distance challenge. Their will be free casting demo's and instructions by some of industry's bests.
