Proposed 2006/2007 Coquihalla Steelhead Opening The Ministry of Environment is seeking input from stakeholders on a potential 2006/07 opening for the angling of summer-run steelhead in the Coquihalla River (above the downstream entrance to the lower railway tunnel). In pursuit of consultation with a wide variety of different stakeholders, I would like to ask your assistance with the distribution of this letter to SFAC members. Given the profile of the river and this potential fishery, I think it would be useful for this letter to be forwarded to all 3 SFAC groups on the mainland portion of the Lower Mainland Region (Lower Fraser SFAC, Upper Fraser SFAC, and Squamish to Lillooet SFAC).
