Volunteer Opportunities
From BC Conservation Foundation:
We have three habitat restoration projects that have been organized
for volunteer involvement. These projects are both Greater Georgia
Basin Steelhead Recovery Plan and the Ministry of Environment initiated
habitat restoration projects. Individuals interested in participating
should be relatively physically fit and expect to get dirty. Although
sweat may be shed during the day, this will be a great opportunity
for individuals to become aware and involved with some interesting
habitat restoration projects throughout the Lower Mainland. These
projects have been initiated to address the dire steelhead conditions
within the Lower Mainland, as well as simple human impacts on our
environment. I hope many of you will find these projects of interest
and we look forward to your involvement. For more information or
to sign up, please contact: Kenji Miyazaki.

What is the Greater Georgia Basin Steelhead Recovery Plan?
The
Greater Georgia Basin Steelhead Recovery Plan is administered
in partnership with the BC Conservation Foundation and has a primary
