and maintain the Chilliwack River corridor as an internationally
recognized recreational and educational experience for future generations
Our goal is
to do the stabilization work at four active clay slides over the
next five years and construct an educational kiosk and demonstration
habitat trail to show what makes good fish and wildlife habitat
that will help with school and public education. We propose to do
this work by money from fund raisers, donations, volunteer labour,
in-kind contributions and grants. As necessary, we will be contracting
a project manager, professionals, equipment and purchasing materials.
All work will be done with consultation and approval of federal,
provincial and local authorities.
