Snap-N-Trac System
By Rodney Hsu, published in August 2005

Fishing on a boat, big or small, can create quite a mess especially if you have a tendency to overload your boat with gear. After a few hours on the boat, fishing lures, hooks, pliers can scatter all over, slowing down your fishing. Furthermore, a water bottle or knife could be rolling on the floor as the boat drifts, a dangerous hazard if you step on it.

There are ways to reduce this mess. Small tackle boxes can keep your terminal tackle well sorted, but opening and closing every box when rigging is a hassle. Having boxes laying around also cuts down the seating space, making the angler uncomfortable or even immobile.

A few months ago we received a package from Gotcha Fishing Stuff, which claims its product is the answer to this common problem. Inside the package, there were many Lego-like plastic pieces. They turned out to be the components of the Snap-N-Trac system. When assembled, the Snap-N-Trac system can be installed on a boat. Different slot sizes accommodate different tools such as hooks, pliers and knives. The cup holder allows the angler to enjoy his beverage with ease. The design is simple to follow, versatile and convenient!

How does it work?

Each Snap-N-Trac system component has small rods on the back that can fit into holes of other components. To assemble, simply clip the rods into the holes. The assembly allows you to create a holder that suits your needs. Once assembled, simply install it onto the boat by drilling the screws provided.
