| 2005 All About Fishing Weekend | |

| Each winter the Fraser Valley Salmon Society puts on a jam-packed weekend of fishing activities for the little anglers before summer fishing returns. This year's event took place on April 1st and 2nd. It drew families from the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley. The parents were also eager to pick up some local fishing tips while their kids took part in various games such as the guppy race and fly tying. | |

| Can you identify these? Both the Chilliwack River Hatchery and Freshwater Fisheries Society of BC provided fish viewing tanks so visitors could learn more about the biology of local species. The hatchery tank (left) contained salmon and steelhead smolts that were ready to be released into the river. The trout tank (right) was filled with various strains of rainbow trout that can be found in British Columbia. | |

| Games for both the young and old. The All About Fishing Weekend is not only enjoyed by the kids, the adults were having just as much fun.
