This month's visual feature delivers two sets of
photographic sequence of fighting the magnificent winter steelhead!

Set one features Shane Ito battling with his first
ever fly-caught silver bullet. This fish fell for a large purple
leech in three feet of water. We managed to capture these images
after sprinting over 100 meters to where he was standing. After
a dozen or so high leaps, Carlo gently tailed this beautiful chrome
buck as it approached the shallows.

Set two features a steelhead that couldn't resist
Rodney's pink worm. The float was buried by this doe in a fairly
shallow tailout after several drifts. After multiple long runs and
a few splashes, it too was gently slid into the shallows for a quick
photo before releasing. |
